Great news: Apocalypse Lovers finally has its official Android APK version! 🎉

1️⃣ Why an Official Android Version?

A) Because it was time to stop the DIY chaos...

Until now, well-meaning but not-so-methodical folks tried to create makeshift ports using JoyPlay and other tools (without even testing the game – not even a little, I know this for a fact, ahah!). The result? A flood of bug reports like:

"Hey, your game is broken!"

But… nope. I had nothing to do with those bugs, and, even worse, I couldn’t do anything to fix them! Not being able to solve an issue? That’s beyond frustrating.

💡 From now on, this official version is the only one we’ll support, because it’s the only one we fully control.

Because it’s optimized and tested 🛠

(Unlike past DIY ports, this version has been beta-tested) B) Additional content : This version also include content specifically redesigned for Android!

• Gesture support for better navigation, with an corresponding "help" menu with all the gesture available.

  2️⃣ Installing the Game on Android: What You Need to Know
  A) Your phone might freak out… but don’t worry! 😱 ⚠️ Don’t panic if your device throws security warnings at you! It’s simply because this is an independent app and not "recognized" (makes sense—it’s not built by a massive corporation, just me in my garage, ahah). 💾 Why does this warning appear? Because Apocalypse Lovers now needs to store your saves locally on your phone or tablet to prevent any progress loss. ✅ Solution:
  • If you see "Unsecure app blocked," click "More details" and confirm the installation.
  • If the installation fails, check if you already have an older version installed. Uninstall it, then try again.
  (I promise, there are no actual viruses in the game… well, except for the one that wiped out humanity, ahah! 😆)
  
  
  
  B) Watch out for your display settings 🌑
  If some dark scenes seem way too black, it might be due to your device’s color settings. Some screens, when set to "intense" colors, crush the contrast and make details hard to see. ✅ Solution:
  • Go to Settings > Display & Brightness > Color Scheme
  • Switch to Standard mode (example: Xiaomi Pad 5).
